Editing a paper is really important because it can cause someone's grade to be low. There are many aspects as to what to check or double check in a paper. I remember once in my sophomore year in high school, I edited my paper but I missed a huge mistake. That is, I forgot to cite ONE quote, which caused my failure for that paper. My teacher said my paper was really good but since I missed that one part in editing, I got an F.
The 4 types of paragraphs are really important and it is important to pay closely attention to each one. (Introductory, Developmental, Transitional, Concluding). I usually take a lot of time thinking about the introduction because it's what sets the tone for the rest of the essay. I also, have a difficult time on thinking about what to write for the conclusion because after reiterating the main idea (the 3 points), I usually don't know what to say after that will leave the readers a strong impression.

yes, editing is very important, especially for grammer. I have a problem in that department when I don't pay attention I would have verb tense problems.
